My experience with Mirapex was no better. Getting off the stuff is no picnic. Five months later, I'm still fighting depression, anhedonia, a general lack of motivation and am having far more "off" days. Overall, a large step backward in control of the PD and leading a "normal" life. But if I'd stayed on it, the lies and deceit probably would have cost me my marriage. The manufacturer's literature makes you think that these compulsive/addictive behaviors only occur in a very small percentage of cases. I've read elsewhere that 15 to 20% of PWP experience these problems.
