Rick I used to play piano when I was a young adult. Can't play at all now. Had DBS almost 10 years ago when I'd had PD 7 years. Like Lisa, the big benefit was no more tremors. I don't take PD meds at all and wish I could. The thing with PD is you get worse no matter what you do. There are degrees of disability and I am learning about them. It is harder and harder to use computer, poor balance leads to falls, etc., but no more tremors!! I think my motorized cycling helps. I would bee a real basket case without DBS.
