I have been using a track ball type of device instead of a mouse.I do not need to move the base, just roll the track ball. I still have to click the button, It works ok even on bad off days. Typing words still get messsed up and I do a lot of back spacing  to delete mistyped words. Looking forward to spring.John

I use both - the trouble with a touch screen is hitting the right spot.for mouse use, I find the best way is to grip my right forearm with my left hand.
