DBS eliminates tremor, my worst symptom and I don't know how  much else. 
My balance is terrible, stiffness  makes for fatigue, great difficulty 
speaking.   I cycle daily 1  hour 40  minutes with Theracycle.   I'm always 
"off".   I feel awful but I hear a lot of the same  complaints from folks on 
meds  Meds don't help that much.  Amantadine helped me move better, but I 
couldn't stand the hallucinations and I was starting to get them with 
Sinemet.

Believe me, if the  benefits outweighed the side effects I'd take them.

don't  worry I stopped it over a year ago.  I don't take any PD meds.
I'm not  a drug taker anyway as  I've always had bad side  effects.
