I would agree that positive attitudes are better than negative ones for any 
situation; however, its easier said than done.  I've found I need to focus 
on dealing with PD symptoms all the time rather than on my attitude.

I'll bet  people who can relax with PD were people who could relax before 
they had it.  Also, thinking about those worse off  than  me has never made 
me feel better.

Hi AJ,
It seems you have not quite accepted PD because you felt embarassed when 
frozen. Make PD your friend because having an enemy within you will keep 
frustrating you for life. Yes it is not a pleasant situation but getting 
angry or frustrated will affect you more deeply than if PD were your friend. 
Besides, just look around and count your blessings - there are people worse 
off.
Keep well and relax.
