Writing @ the Centre

Register for our one-day conference, which will explore writing centre best practices and next practices. Topics include academic writing instruction in classrooms and tutorials, academic integrity, and technology in writing support. The conference schedule is available here.
The conference is a collaboration between the Canadian Writing Centres Association and the University of Victoria, with support from Camosun College, Royal Roads University, and Vancouver Island University.
Keynote speakers, Dr. Terese Thonus (University of Kansas) and Dr. Rebecca Day
Babcock (University of Texas, Permian Basin), will present from their recent publication, Researching
the Writing Centre: Towards an Evidence-Based Practice (2012, Peter Lang Publishing).
Conference registration fees
Professionals $75.00
Students: $65.00
Optional post-conference dinner: $40.00
Conference fee include pre-conference events, lunch, and refreshments, as well as a one-year CWCA/ACCR membership. Payment can be made via credit card or cheque.
