Margaret, bladder infections are a constant problem in PWP. They don't drink enough fluids and often maintain urine in their bladder for a longer time. Add prostate problems to that mix (which many PWP have) which doesn't allow the bladder to fully empty and you have a perfect formula for bladder infections. Your husband's weakness is also a common problem in people who are neurologically impaired following any kind of infection. Give him time to regain his strength.
