Hello Gail, I was diagnosed in 1997 at age 48. Understanding and acceptance, for me, are never-ending quests. There are some days when I almost forget about PD, others where it's ever-present. I have no great wisdom to impart, but would encourage you to enjoy everything that is wonderful about life as much as you possibly can, and laugh every chance you get.
