These are long years. When do you start meds and what happens if you don't > take meds? Would you say the meds are worth it with all their own problems? > It varies from case to case. 'My' JOhn went for 10 years without treatment but was loosing his independence. Regained it all once he started the treatment and to the end (>20 years PD) was able to dress/shower/eat alone.
