Would my forced cycling count?

Subject: $50,000 for Parkinson’s Research: Track Miles for The Michael J. Fox Foundation

Through November 3, turn your walk, run, or bike ride into dollars for Parkinson's research.

The Michael J. Fox Foundation is asking the Parkinson's community to take the "think/able: Miles for a Cure" challenge. The goal is to walk, run, or bike a collective 50,000 miles from October 5 through November 3.

Medtronic is proud to be a partner for the challenge. Medtronic will donate $1 for every mile up to $50,000 - that's $50,000 for critical Parkinson's research.

Recording your miles is easy with a smartphone app using GPS or with an online form.

As you know, exercise is very important for people with Parkinson's - and for everybody else, too! This month, you have another great reason to exercise.

One mile at a time, we'll get to $50,000 together.
