John, Maryse, Parcopa is not chewable, it's an ODT, or Orally Dissolving Tablet. It is fast acting, at least compared to Stalevo and Sinemet, and it doesn't last as long as the extended release drugs like Stalevo. I use it to fill in the gaps between doses, of the Sinemet and Stalevo. It works fairly well in this way. Another strategy that might be worth a try is to stagger the times of your dosages, so that your doses don't come at the same time. I for one would be very cautious with the use of dopaminergic drugs. They have thrown me way off track more than once and I don't take any of them these days. Happy hunting! Apokyn works fine but it seems many people tend to use it too often. I think it is not used as much as when it came out some years ago. liquid sinemet ( small dose) can work or the chewable form of sinemet (Parkopa I think) maryse ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off Parkinsn send a message to: mailto:[log in to unmask] In the body of the message put: signoff parkinsn ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off Parkinsn send a message to: mailto:[log in to unmask] In the body of the message put: signoff parkinsn
