Well, I am crossing my fingers.  There seem to be so many possible advances, 
which then just disappear in to thin air.  I do try and keep optimistic that 
a cure will be found in time, but it's not always easy.  And I've only been 
diagnosed for two years - I am full of admiration about how positive many of 
the contributors to this information exchange are, even though they have 
been waiting for a LONG time.  Thank you!

thanks, Julie,  my new iCare PCP doc  just a couple of weeks ago prescribed
folic acid for  me.   He told me it might help my swallowing problem and I
think it has helped, but was waiting for  more evidence before posting.
This article which I haven't seen before is promising.
