I went for a DAT scan (similar to an MRI  but supposedly better).  You have to keep your head absolutely still for 10 minutes, surprisingly hard even  with padded blocks supporting it.  Then they wouldn't  let me see the pictures - but it's MY brain !  Managed to sneak a look - wonder which bit is the personality, the "Amanda" bit ?
Apparently my Parkinson's isn't progressing in quite the expected way so they thought it might be a Parkinsons-like problem rather than actual PD - but still not sure.
