This sounds like your husband might be having Neuroleptic Shock. This happens if the meds aren't given or taken on time. It can be life threatening.This also shows that one must not be passive about tending to your loved ones welfare. My wife took my meds, particularly carba-dopa (Sinemet) and when the hospital wouldn't get it for me she told the nurse that they had 5 minutes to get it and give it to me, or she WAS going to give me some of my medicine. That got their attention, for she would have done it, and her tone told them that she meant it. They got someone out of the pharmacy to come and and open the pharmacy and dispense some.
