Hi ,
I know tonic water is good for cramps but it has been suggested that Sinemet should be taken by mouth as a tablet without any creativity.  So try tonic water on its own and Sinemet as prescribed.
By the way aif you are in a position to travel, I have found that to be very therapeutic
