PD is enough to depress anyone. In early stages I thought about suicide, but figured if I botched it I could end up even worse. Plus I'm a coward. Clinical depression and PD is just too much to endure. DBS is being used for clinical depression as well as tremor. My maternal aunt was bi-polar and attempted suicide several times, it was awful manic/depression was like being two different people. her brother had epilepsy, sister Alzheimer's, my mother trigeminal neuralgia, and their father Parkinson's.
