_t was very sad to read about  Spike,I remember reading some of your list
messages about him over the years. He sounded like a great dog. and  i'm
sure he had a good life with you.
17 years is a long life for a dog, though i know that doesn't make the loss
any easier
My own dog just turned 14 and  its  difficult  to  see how he is aging and
slowing down.
