The Air Quality Research Division will debut products from their next-generation G EM-MACH air quality model. To support the real-time forecasting\, there w ill be monitoring during summer 2015 including a greatly expanded mesonet\ , an enhanced suite of air quality measurements at existing monitoring sta tions and several new supersite stations. There will also be mobile labora tories and vertical soundings to capture both horizontal distributions and vertical gradients for pollutants. This seminar will summarize the new features of the next generation GEM-MACH model and a summary of the collab orative projects developed to evaluate and improve forecast products. A f ocus will be on projects that assess the direct and indirect impacts of ae rosol on weather and air quality in an urban environment.\n\n\n\nIf you ar e unable to join us for the seminar in person\, we will be broadcasting th e presentations live during the seminar using GoToMeeting software. Please feel free to join us online using a web-browser or by calling in and usin g the webviewing software. If you do decide to join us\, please remember t o mute your microphone.
