Amanda , can you get a support bar or a small towel rail installed? My
wife [PWP24yrs] had the s ame problem but she had a towel rail . Moving
the head forward Shifts the body's centre of gravity. The head is heavy
and more effective. Try to get the head as far forward {and the
shoulders] as possible. At the same time pull on t he bar an push with
your legs. All at once.The same principle is usad in the Heimlich
manoeuvre which Anne and used to get her off alow daybed. However that
