Looking ahead with a suggestion for the next conference gathering: as  
talking comes before writing, has there ever been a conference theme  
that explores language speaking skills and transfer of speech to text?  
I mean, is writing (the embodiment of words) an integrative action in  
language learning? Or a disintegrative one? Does the outcome depend on  
what is the mother language of the learner. I mean, performance texts  
were recognized as documents in the landmark legal decision known as  
Delgamuuwk. Early legal writing is said to have been poetic. Is this  
the reverse of text-to-voice which I am now learning as an adaptive  
technology? Either way, this is a potentially rich strategy for  
language learning. And then there is the whole issue of higher  
education for blind learners.
