We start by comparing the distr ibution of the spatial estimates of NO2 derived from a transportation/emis sions model\, a land-use regression model\, and a dispersion model. We inv estigate the reasons behind the agreement and disagreement between these m easures in the context of the land-use and built environment of Montreal. We then compare estimates of health risk using these different exposure es timates relying on two case-control studies of breast and prostate cancer. We ask the question: Under which conditions could transportation models r eplace expensive monitoring techniques and computationally intensive atmos pheric dispersion modelling?\n\n\n\nIf you are unable to join us for the s eminar in person\, we will be broadcasting the presentations live during t he seminar using GoToMeeting software. Please feel free to join us online using a web-browser or by calling in and using the webviewing software. If you do decide to join us\, please remember to mute your microphone. If y ou have any questions during the meeting you are welcome to contact me by email\, or by using the GoToMeeting chat.\n\nInstructions on how to connec t:\n\nUsing your web-browser or smartphone\nhttps://global.gotomeeting.com /join/155379597\n\nor call in using your telephone.\n\nDial +1 (647) 497- 9353\nAccess Code: 155-379-597\nAudio PIN: Shown after joining the meeting \n\nMeeting ID: 155-379-597\n\n\n\nKind Regards\,\n\nNatalie Leung |Financ ial and Administrative Assistant|\n|Southern Ontario Centre for Atmospheri c Aerosol Research|University of Toronto|\n|200 College Street\, Toronto\, ON\, Canada\, M5S 3E5|\n|P 416 978 [log in to unmask][log in to unmask]>|\n|www.socaar.utoronto.ca|\n\n\n SUMMARY;LANGUAGE=en-US:SOCAAR Seminar - Presenter: Dr. Marianne Hatzopoulou DTSTART;TZID=Eastern Standard Time:20150930T150000 DTEND;TZID=Eastern Standard Time:20150930T160000 UID:040000008200E00074C5B7101A82E00800000000505351169BF0D001000000000000000 0100000002A8C68CC51DF9F40863C5C57909561A4 CLASS:PUBLIC PRIORITY:5 DTSTAMP:20150916T203944Z TRANSP:OPAQUE STATUS:CONFIRMED SEQUENCE:0 LOCATION;LANGUAGE=en-US:WB407 - 200 College Street X-MICROSOFT-CDO-APPT-SEQUENCE:0 X-MICROSOFT-CDO-OWNERAPPTID:1827706847 X-MICROSOFT-CDO-BUSYSTATUS:TENTATIVE X-MICROSOFT-CDO-INTENDEDSTATUS:BUSY X-MICROSOFT-CDO-ALLDAYEVENT:FALSE X-MICROSOFT-CDO-IMPORTANCE:1 X-MICROSOFT-CDO-INSTTYPE:0 X-MICROSOFT-DISALLOW-COUNTER:FALSE BEGIN:VALARM ACTION:DISPLAY DESCRIPTION:REMINDER TRIGGER;RELATED=START:-PT15M END:VALARM END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
