Yes, I know there is no cure yet. But what I was asking is if anyone knows
of a website that tracks the announcements of research into a cure, to get
an idea of how many just "disappear".

I think I concentrated on work done on a cure because there seem to be fewer
studies announced, compared to work being done on minimising the impact of
the symptoms.

I really appreciate the information that you, and others, post to this e
mail listing - it's important to understand what is happening.

Thanks, Julie

unfortunately there are no cures for Parkinson's, not even decent
treatments. However, I feel obliged to report on the "news". I've had PD
almost 20 years and I used to be a big advocate for cures, but now would be
grateful for some relief.
Can't help but think if everyone got PD we'd have a cure. Also, drug
companies benefit from no cures.

We seem to get lots of news about possible therapies, which then just drop
out of existence never to be heard of again. Does anyone know if there is a
web site that tracks research into cures for Parkinson's?
