FYI

It is with much happiness (and some relief) that I announce this position for a full time, tenure track Multilingual Learning Specialist at Emily Carr University of Art & Design in beautiful (and uncharacteristically snowy) Vancouver, British Columbia:  http://www.ecuad.ca/about/working-at-emily-carr/multilingual-learning-specialist.. Please share widely.

Emily Carr is a small university (approx. 2000 FTEs) with a very culturally and linguistically diverse student population: students work towards undergraduate and Masters degrees in art, design and media.

The position would work closely with the Writing Centre and have the opportunity to help build our Teaching and Learning Centre. There are no course-teaching responsibilities built into the position, but teaching could be a possibility for interested applicants.

I will be serving on the hiring committee, and I am happy to answer any questions about the position, about Emily Carr, about living in Vancouver (or Canada).

We will begin reviewing applications on January 19, 2017, but the posting will remain open until filled.

Many thanks, and happy holidays to you all!

Heather Fitzgerald
Coordinator, Writing Centre, Emily Carr University of Art and Design
Chair, Canadian Writing Centres Association
