This survey will be used to inform Parkinson Canada’s submission to government agencies in Canada for the drug Movapo® (injection and injectable pen delivery methods of apomorphine), which will help determine whether or not Movapo® will be recommended to receive public coverage by provincial formularies. In patients with advanced Parkinson’s disease, Movapo® is administered by injection or injectable pen and is indicated for acute, intermittent treatment of hypomobility (i.e. slow movement), “off” episodes (“end-of-dose wearing off” and unpredictable “on/off” episodes). It is an adjunct medication used with other medications for the management of Parkinson’s disease.
