Last week our friend and colleague Prudence Tracy died after a year's illness. Prue was one of REED's founders, making the essential link with the University of Toronto Press where she was a senior editor. All of us working in mediaeval and Renaissance studies have reason to be grateful to Prue for her faithful partnership with us. She will be missed. The Press has established a scholarship in her name for a student at the University of Toronto's Centre for Medieval Studies.
