Thanks to Dr Homan for his remarks! Those who attend the British Studies Association meeting in Montreal in early October will also find REED well-represented, though from a different point of view. The papers will be dealing more with the historical and social contexts of drama and its patronage in England. It is exciting to see the way that publication and study of these kinds of primary sources cuts across traditional discipline boundaries and touches so many aspects of our study of the mediaeval or early modern period.
