Attention: Stuart Seidman Stuart, when I turned 65 I went to my local Social Security office in Massachusetts and signed up for Medicare and Social Security. The eligibility seemed to be automatic. Of course, I had a sufficient number of quarters of Social Security contributions to be eligible for Social Security.
