Dear Alan Bonander ... thank you for the interesting and useful detail on Sinemet. I liked learning the derivation of the name: sin emet = without emetic (action). My 85 year old mother (the PD person, diagnosed just a couple of years ago), will laugh when I tell her the not-very-poetic background of what she fondly calls her "magic medicine." I'm glad this network comes in as e-mail rather than in a newsgroup .. it is so much easier to print it and mail it to her.
