Radio Shack has some inexpensive devices that you might try. A powered speaker with microphone input. Use a lapel mic and attach the speaker to a belt. The also have a hand held amplified mic. There are also amplified bull horns (over kill). A simple megaphone might be helpfull. If there are any others, please post. We have a need for these devices for our guided plant tours.
