Yes.  That's the big problem.  You can stran your self without realizing it.
 Soreness usually doesn't become noticable until a few hours after the
strain occurs.  If you do experience even minor pain during the exercise,
then you may be in for some serious pain a few hours later that will be
a long time in healing.
