Dear Cherilyn Young: Go to your library or book store and get the book - PARKINSON'S DISEASE - The Complete Guide For Patients and Caregivers - by Abraham Lieberman, M.D. (Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board, American Parkinson Disease Association) 1993 Edition. Lots of PD drug information in this book. Also - Debra Gangale, MA, CCC, Speech/Language Pathologist is in private practice in Vero Beach, Florida. She wrote a manual on facial, oral and neck exercises to promote improved swallowing, chewing, articulating and facial tone. Call her at (407)778-9760. The APDA will have articles you can have by calling 1-800-223-APDA. Ask to speak to Dr. Maestrone or his assistant as the person who answers the phone at APDA is always new and doesn't know much.
