Gaylord:  Thanks so much for the information on depression.  That was very
helpful to me.  My experience, so far, was to have become quite depressed
the 2 years prior to diagnosis.  I remember saying to my wife, "I have
really lost my nerve.  I'm going to have to retire."  After diagnosis and
getting onto Sinemet, the depression and anxiety receded and my former
self confidence returned.  Over the course of this first year, the depression
has not returned.
Barbara:  I am so sorry to hear of all the killings there.  It must be a
terrible worry.  Are these related in any ways?  Or discrete and separate?
I'm told that in Alaska there is always a "cabin fever" syndrome in the spring
with different forms of violent behavior outbreaks.  Have you had a really
difficult winter?
