    Syndrome:   A series of symptoms associated with a disease forming
together a clinical picture of the disease.
    Parkinson's Disease Syndrome:  A series of symptoms associated with
Parkinson's disease - ie: tremor, rigidity, slowness, difficulty with fine
movement, loss of volume of speech, tendency to shuffle when walking,
handwriting difficulty,  difficulty with balance and walking, masked face,
tented hand, dystonia, stooped position.  Pick three - suspect PD.
    Often when there is a question about a patient having parkinsons, the
neurologist will try that patient on levadopa which is specific for PD and if
the patient responds positively a  diagnosis of parkinsons is usually made.
 Most PD specialists can recognize the disease on first eyeballing.
