TO ALL Tuesday, June 14, APDA will announce that Mr. Muhammad Ali will be lending his name and fame to APDA's efforts to increase the awareness of Parkinson's disease. This week is National Parkinson's Awareness Week for APDA. There will be a signing of the bill by President Clinton with Muhammad Ali by his side. Clinton is a big fan of Ali. The second event is in the evening. On the Discovery Cable channel at 9:30 PM is a program called "NEXT STEP." There will be a segment on "Virtual Reality and PD." If you have problems with akinesia, freezing or festination, I think you will find this program very interesting. The time I have given is the listed time for the San Francisco Bay Area.
