Dear Joan Lee: I don't know of any PD specialists in the Ogdensburg NY area,
so in case there are none your brother can go to Ottawa Ontario which is an
easy drive. Contact the Parkinson's Society of Ottawa-Carleton at
(613)722-9238 for information in regards neurologists specializing in PD and
info about support groups in Ottawa and area.
Dr. David Grimes, a well respected Ottawa neurologist, has been the
Director of the Parkinson's Disease Clinic at the Ottawa Civic Hospital since
l977. He is also Director of the Loeb Institute for Medical Research and is
a member of the Parkinson Study Group, which conducts clinical trials at
sites in both Canada and the USA. He would know if there is a PD specialist
in the Ogdensburg area - maybe Syracuse.
