To Meredith and Andrew, It has been a while since you asked about your mother's voice problem. How is she doing since her meds were changed? Is her voice any better? Have you been able to locate a speech therapist? I hope no news is good news. re 'pacer' I have a vague memory of reading about a 'pacer' such as you describe, but would it be better than a pallidotomy? Does anybody have an answer?
