I've been on the list a couple of weeks now and would like to introduce myself. I am 44 and was diagnosed with Parkinson's a little over a year ago. My first symptoms were probably about 5 years ago. I'm on what seems to be the typical therapy of sinemet CR and eldypril. They help most of the time. I hate to dwell on the negative, but this is the main question on my mind right now. I would like to know about the rate of disease progression of other who had "early onset" parkinsons i.e. younger than about 55 years. Books and articles always just say it varies from person to person, which is true but not very informative. Certainly some sequences and rates are more common than others. If someone would like to share with me their experience about when they had to give certain favorite activities and working I would certainly appreciate it (either through the network or directly to my e-mail address if you feel it more appropriate.
