Richard and Betty Dillard: PAN is Parkinson Action Network which was started
by a young CA lawyer - Joan Samuelson - who also has PD. PAN is full of
bright energetic people most of whom have PD but don't let it stop them in
their chosen duty to be advocates to the cause of making sure our government
bigwigs know we are around and hurting and need money to get research going
on a larger scale so we can take our place as patients with state of the art
treatment - if not the whole enchilada - a CURE. You could say PAN is our
lobby in Washington - in the best meaning of lobby.
If PAN has a computer PD bulletin board I don't know about it. APDA has
a PD BB as does AOL and Prodigy and of course this list with Internet.
Compuserve has something PD but I found it ponderous two years ago so didn't
sign on - my kids love it.
