Within that last two months, at our Caregiver/Parkinson's split meetings I, in listening, heard that touched a nerve. People were saying that there spouse's had not been diagnosised with Parkinson's until after having a Major Surgery. lst Meeting it was 5 out of 17, including my wife it was 6. 2nd Meeting it was 7 out of 24, including my wife it was 8. I am now wondering if this is just coincidence, have there been any statistics kept on anything like this, or has anyone looked into the facts concerning anesthesia? Maybe you, or some of our neighbors can throw some light on this subject. Anyway, it might be worth looking into.
