To Friends of the PD List:
I have previously posted information about "Parkinsonian Papers", A
renaissance magazine by and for Parkinsonians, including art, literature and
music expressions of all kinds. This is to acknowledge a response from a
number of you and to ask your help in telling others about this resource for
Parkinsonians. Please post your comments (pro/con) to the list and to my
mail box on AOL. For those of you reading this info for the first time, here
is a summary....

This innovative and independent magazine is published by Parkinsonian
Publications of Tyler, Texas, a NON-PROFIT organization with NO AXE TO GRIND
AND NO ADVERTISING; the magazine is FREE to Parkinsonians. The publisher,
Dr. Barry Green, himself a Parkinsonian, is the heart and soul of this
operation, including raising the money to publish, collecting contributions,
editing and overseeing the layout and publishing. The form and content of PP
are unique, as you will see when you write for your copy!

A new issue of PP has just been delivered to my mailbox, and it is a joy
to read and assimulate. This is a DOUBLE issue with about twice the normal
content, since a Spring issue was not published. If you have been intending
to write for a subscription, this is the issue to get! The theme of this
issue is "friendship".

As stated, subscriptions are free to Parkinsonians by writing to the
address below. If you would like to have copies as gifts the cost is only
$2.50 to cover shipping and handling, but $4.50 please for the current DOUBLE
issue.

Finally, after you have seen this magazine, if you are as appreciative
as I am of the inspiration and WORK behind it (from a very unselfish heart) I
encourage you to send a donation to support continued publication.
