Dear Celia, From what I've read, the link between PD and pesticides is based on epidemiological data, not direct evidence. There is a higher incidence of PD in rural areas with high pesticide use than would be expected in a randomly selected group of people. The thinking is that it may be due to long term exposure. Of course this doesn't mean a fumigation didn't cause your case, it just means we're still pretty ignorant about the causes of PD. Sincerely Leif J.
