My father-in-law is 82 years of age and has PD and I am writing for him. He has recently been experiencing hallucinations involving rats, mice, and squirrels chewing hem. He also experiences a rat chewing his toe. Another small friendly mouse sleeps in the small of his back. He can feel its breath. The hallucinations are obviously the effects of the medication -- Sinomet or Eldepryl. Is there anyone out there having similar experiences? Anyone have any suggestions, other than dropping the dose of the medications, on how to reduce the number of episodes. It is hard to explain to him that he is not going crazy, so if anyone has any suggestions, please reply promptly. Thanks [log in to unmask]
