Dear PARKINSN list: As supervisor for "The Danish Students" I would like to thank you for all the informations they have got and for your positive attitude to our project. Be sure that they will contine to ask ! As you know, these five students are only one group among four other groups with PD interests (more in the pharmaceutical, pharmacological, and biochemical way). But a few minutes ago, one of these other groups came to me and asked if it was possible for them to pose a question to the list. "OK let ud try", I said. Their question was: "Which experiences do you have with drug holydays ? Do you use them, how often, what are the benefits and the draw-backs, what about changes in symptoms and how soon will the side-effects wear off ad so on ?" They would like to get some comments but do not feel obligated if you do not like to comment. They will ask me for any replies this Thursday afternoon (Danish time = morning US time), and then the following days. On Friday one of the US-members of the list (Paul Potter, <[log in to unmask]>) and his wife are visiting Copenhagen. "The Danish Students" on the list and I look very much forward to meet them "over a good Danish beer" (as they suggested) ! Have a nice time.
