Subject: Case Managers and Home Health Aides
My dad just fell for the first time and fractured his
hip. He had surgery two days ago and will be in the
hospital for 7-10 days and then rehab 3 weeks or so.
Until now, there has been no in-home help but my
mom's back is starting to hurt as she has had to
pull him up and down for the last several months.
I think they got a "doctor's note" saying they
require in-home care so that insurance pays. I will
post when I find out what actually happens and
how it works.
