>Subject: Academic Research Papers

For those who do research into Parkinson's on the nets, has anyone
found a means to get academic research papers? We'd be interested,
at various times, in searching, downloading, and ordering. Paid
services for this would be ok to hear about as well.

Reply to this list. I'll summarize if you send mail just to me.

Thanks.

CompuServe has a service called "Knowledge Index" (GO KI) which
has access to MEDLINE and other medical databases. It is, unfortu-
natlely, expensive. There is a software program called "Grateful
Med" available through the (U. S.) National Institutes of Health
in Bethesda, MD, that is reasonably priced; and there is also a
program called "DialogLink" (which I use) that used to be available
for accessing these databases; but I don't know if it is available
any longer. CompuServe purchased Dialog some time ago, and you
still access it through CIS, but it is more reasonably priced than
using just CompuServe. I hope that this is helpful.

Best,

Bob
