Hi, I'm new to this. I am a graduate nurse at the university of Iowa.
My mother has had parkinson's for a few years now. She is 76 yrs. old.
She has gradually become more immobile, using a walker, has little desire
to do much except sit. She still reads and plays cards. My sister helps
her with her bath otherwise she does the sponge bath routine. She has
been on Sinemet, but her new doctor has increased that dose and also has
started her on Permax. We have not seen any improvement yet, but it may
be too soon. She lives in Mission, Texas during the winter and I
wondered if you knew of a doctor who practices there. Also, would like
to know if this is the best medicine available. Thanks, for listening.
