Abigail, as your sly use of the spelling "Kid" gives away, you are of course
aware that Marlowe and Kyd were indeed lovers, or rather, lover--since in
both cases they were merely pen-names for Gabriel Harvey, who certainly had
sufficient self-love for two! (Sorry, reading the latest discussion of
authorship on the SHAKSPER list has made me a little crazy.)
