I do not have PD but because of a long history of breast cancer in the family, I cannot take estrogen. I read Susun Weed's "Wise Woman Ways for the Menopausal Year", and developed my own regimen for treating menopausal symptoms with herbs. I even make my own extracts. Perhaps the herbs would work where estrogen is contraindicated. BTW, motherwort works especially well for hot flashes.
