Hi Jan (on the East Coast):

My name is Husam Laswi. My father was diagnosed with PD back in 1984. He is
66 years old now. His condition is deteriorating to the point where he can't
really speak any more. He can talk for about 15 minutes a day, and that
takes all his energy away. He has lost so much weight and is still
aggressively fighting the disease.

I have read your message about hallucinations. My father has not yet reached
this point (thanks God). However, I have read in an article that this is a
symptom of the disease itself at advanced stages. In fact I have the article
infront of me. If you would like a copy of it, you could send me a message
to where I could fax it or mail it to you. I was able to retrieve this
article from AOL back in April '94. The article is titled "Parkinson Disease
- Copyright 1993 Health ResponseAbility Systems" and dated 4-5-94. At the
end of the report it said: Source: "FDA Consumer".

I recommend that you get this 7-page article. If you need to reach me, I am
