My mother has just received a preliminary diagnosis of PD. The only symptoms to date have been an increasingly noticeable problem with her head shaking from side to side. This started about 6 months ago. Not being very familiar with Parkinson's, I scanned Gopherspace with Veronica to find this list. I downloaded all of the archived messages for December and am reading them now, I would like to sincerely thank all of those that have contributed to this list. I was desperate for a quick source of detailed information and was amazed by the volume of information available here. I am interested in any suggestions for literature, books, organizations, and other sources of information that others have found useful in learning about PD.
